This majestic Italian superyacht, instantly turning heads with its unusual blue silhouette, is only three years old. Most importantly, the millionaire owner, who was actively involved in every detail of the construction process, only enjoyed his new luxury toy for one season before putting it on the market.
Crocus was one of the most impressive launches back in 2021. The 157-footer (48 meters) was one of the most sophisticated Admiral yachts and the biggest one in the builder's ATOS series. Built in aluminum, the majestic Crocus was intended as a high-class family vacation superyacht with accommodation for up to ten guests.

It was said that the owner had specific requests for the overall layout and design, including a particular focus on children's safety and comfort on board. As a result, Gian Marco Campanino ditched sharp angles and geometric shapes in favor of rounded shapes and edgeless designs. Floor-to-ceiling windows were also used extensively to create vast and luminous social areas throughout. Both the sundeck and beach club covered huge areas in order to provide the best, most luxurious lounging experience for everyone onboard.

While child-friendly, Crocus also stayed faithful to the brand's ultra-luxurious DNA. Precious materials such as Alcantara suede, Statuario marble, and Ebony wood were carefully integrated without overshadowing the overall relaxed style. What stands out the most is that Crocus offers the lavish outdoor spaces of a much more voluminous yacht and the practical advantages of a more compact vessel under 500 GT. Performance-wise, its twin CAT engines can hit 19 knots (35 kph) and, at the time of this recently announced sale, barely had a few hours on them.

Crosus made its shining debut in 2021, and by 2023, it found itself already on the market. Despite being practically new and packed with attractive amenities, it didn't find a new owner as quickly as hoped. At the beginning of this year, the price had already dropped significantly, after a $4 million cut.

A few months later, in the early summer season, Crocus finally changed hands. The three-year-old superyacht that had been actually used for just one season was sold for €22 million ($23.5 million). What makes this sale even more surprising is that Crocus had been meticulously built to the specifications of its experienced owner. Why go through the trouble of having your dream family superyacht built if you're only going to enjoy it for one season?

Nevertheless, Crocus has continued to be one of the most beautiful, elegant Admiral yachts in recent years. The Italian yacht has only been used privately until now, but perhaps things will change under the new ownership, and Crocus will embark on a charter adventure. After all, its family-friendly features and generous interior volume make it particularly well-suited for luxury charter.
