Yesterday we got to see a camouflaged 2014 Mercedes-Benz GLA crossover while it was being tested in Death Valley. The photo was posted by the company's American president and CEO Steve Cannon on his Twitter page.
Cannon came back a little later and shared another photo, this time depicting a camouflaged Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe, the vehicle that will replace the CL. Unfortunately, no details have been revealed and we'll just have to wait for more info on this luxury coupe.
As we already mentioned, the S-Class Coupe is scheduled to show up at the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show in the form of a concept car, with the production version to be unveiled sometime in 2014 and introduced for the 2015 model year.
The S-Class Coupe shares the same MRA platform that underpins the all-new S-Class, so the vehicle is expected to be lighter and have better handling. The luxury coupe is expected to arrive with the usual mix for V8 engine and a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6. A bigger V12 unit could be offered as well.
