With GLK sales continuously growing up since its official launch, Mercedes aims to turn market's attention to this particular model using a new range of accessories. Starting with styling parts or safety systems and ending with skis and snowboards racks, the new accessories are already available in all Mercedes authorized dealerships.

“It is not just in the fashion world that Mercedes-Benz focuses on individuality and elegant styling: the select accessories for the new GLK offer numerous ways to lend the compact Sports Utility Vehicle a highly personal touch and extend its range of uses,” Mercedes said.

Especially designed for iPhone owners, the Apple iPhone holder “ensures a firm hold” while driving, protecting the gadget of shocks and scratches. In addition, the iPod Interface Kit is fully compatible with Apple's iPods, letting you connect the players to the on-board audio system and stream music to the integrated speakers.

As mentioned, the new range of accessories is also focused on safety systems, with Quickpark and DUO plus child seats now available in dealerships. The RUD-matic snow chain system provides enhanced control on slippery surfaces while the child seat is especially designed for children between the ages of eight months and four years, with the supported weight ranging between nine to 18 kilograms.

The styling accessories include stainless steel roof strips, with aluminum-effect running board and rear apron trim. The front spoiler lip and the roof spoiler follow the same aerodynamic design of the car, Mercedes explains. Moreover, the light-alloy wheels enhances stability and handling while the rim lock set prevents theft “of the attractive designer wheels. “Exclusive hub caps and valve caps add a further refined touch to the design,” the German manufacturer concluded.
