Mercedes CLK63 AMG Black Series Growls at the Ring

The Mercedes-Benz CLK63 AMG Black Series, a car produced between 2007 and 2009 is a real monster. While it may be slightly heavier than the car on which it’s based, it is considerably more powerful than the regular CLK63.
It features the same 6.2-liter V8 engine that powers many of Mercedes’ hotter offerings, including the S63 AMG, and aside from making one of the best noises in the business, it’s also extremely powerful and torquey.

In the CLK63 Black Series, it is tuned to put out 507 hp and 630 Nm (465 lb-ft). This enables ‘The Black’ to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4 seconds dead (0.3 seconds quicker than the regular model), with 160 km/h (100 mph) coming up in 8.8 seconds (0.5 seconds quicker) - it is electronically limited to 186 mph (300 km/h).

One such beast was recently spotted around the Nurburgring by NM2255, where it easily overshadowed any and all other cars, in terms of the quality of their exhaust note
