Mercedes-Benz has took the wraps off the Citan Crewbus, the long wheelbase version of its Renault Kangoo-based Citan.
The longer mini MPV has received a third row of seating with two individual seats at the back, which are independently adjustable fore and aft and can be removed altogether for more cargo space.
Although intended for passenger transport, the Citan Crewbus can be transformed easily into a spacious cargo hauler as the second row of seats can be folded down as well. The new version will become available in Europe in spring 2014, with pricing to be announced close to its launch date.
As a reminder, the Mercedes-Benz Citan range - basically a Renault Kangoo with a Mercedes face - has received two new Renault engines earlier this month - the 1.5-liter diesel rated at 109 HP and the 1.2-liter TCE with 112 HP.
