The German car maker is all set to change the way that is being perceived around the world as it's heading closer to 2020, by the time it wants to regain the number one spot in global luxury car sales.
For this reason, and not only, the American branch of Mercedes-Benz is preparing for a new round of employee training as far as its dealerships are involved.
The Mercedes-Benz Leadership Academy will provide training for approximately 3,500 US dealers, general managers and certain employees from sales, parts and service starting with the upcoming summer.
“All the leadership teams of all 362 dealerships will have to invest in training,” Steve Cannon, CEO of Mercedes-Benz USA, was quoted by Automotive News.
Apart from that, the Mercedes-Benz Immersion Center will also begin sometime during the summer of 2014, in Alabama, where about 5,000 dealership employees will have to attend a two-day program that focuses on driving, Mercedes-Benz culture and learning about the factory in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
