Ever wonder what a smaller SLS would look like? Hopefully not like the picture above, that's just our ugly attempt at shrinking one of the sexiest cars in the world.
Fortunately, the good news is Mercedes seems to be going ahead with the development of the car that's been dubbed the SLC AMG. Th bad news is that it won't be ready until 2015, which isn't surprising considering they haven't built a rolling chassis yet.
According to CAR Magazine, the SLC won't even have gulling doors, because engineers want to shave every kilo possible.
The SLC will be powered by a new 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that makes 485 hp and 600 lb-ft (677 Nm). This sounds suspiciously like the engine rumored for the new C63 or C55 AMG model.
In 2016, a less powerful version will arrive, powered by a 3.0-liter V6 engine with 333 hp. Again, this sounds like the turbo V6 that will be used by the new W205 C-Class, more specifically the C400 model.
