Even though neither model will not be available in dealerships until September, Mercedes-Benz has already released the starting prices for both the S 500 4Matic Coupe and the S 63 AMG 4Matic Coupe, which are also available for ordering now.
The Mercedes-Benz S 500 4Matic Coupe will start at EUR 125,961.50, while the S 63 AMG 4Matic Coupe will start at EUR 170,586.50, both prices including the 19 percent value added tax in Germany.
As most of you know, the S 500 Coupe comes fitted with a twin-turbocharged 4.7-liter V8 that outputs 455 hp and 700 Nm (516 lb ft) of torque, which in 4Matic guise helps the model achieve 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.6 seconds from a standing start.
The S 63 AMG Coupe, on the other hand, is currently the fastest model to wear the “S-Class” nameplate when fitted with 4Matic all-wheel drive. Both the twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V8 and the 4Matic all-wheel drive help it achieve 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standing start in just 3.9 seconds, with the 585 hp and the massive 900 Nm (664 lb ft) of torque developed by the engine making it the most powerful V8-engined luxury car on the planet.
Both models comes with an extensive array of standard features, including Command Online, Thermotronic automatic climate control and the LED Intelligent Light System.
The options list, however, is even more extensive, with stuff like the high-talked about LED Lights System with Swarovski crystals, Night View Assist Plus or a Burmester high-end 3D surround sound system with 24 speaks, 24 amplifier channels and 1520 W topping the list for some of the most expensive options.
