In order to celebrate 15 years of the Gran Turismo franchise, Polyphony announced at the end of August that it has made an interesting partnership with a number of car manufacturers, including Mercedes-Benz.
Part of the deal is that each manufacturer from the list will create a virtual concept car that you will only be able to drive in the Gran Turismo universe, or, more specifically, the upcoming GT6 Playstation 3 game.
Mercedes-Benz first released a teaser for their Vision Gran Turismo concept in the summer, with the model making history as the first ever three-pointed star wearer to be specifically developed for a game.
Today they released a more revealing teaser for the model on their official Facebook page, which appears to have been lost its Porsche 911 GT3 (996) profile and rear wing. This can only mean it will either have (virtual) active aerodynamics, or that the rear wing can be taken off.
We'll just have to wait for December 6 for the official GT6 launch, when we will hopefully also see the 26th Mercedes-Benz model to be featured in the game.
