The Mercedes-Benz GLA has been teased, leaked and then officially unveiled over the course of just 24 hours. If your thirst for information about the model hasn't been quenched by the various articles about the new compact crossover here, how about seeing the actual car in all its glory on the move?
It's a very short but revealing video, especially when seeing the compact size of the car in the real world and the two different exterior design kist available.
In the first part of the footage we see a more city-friendly and aerodynamic AMG front bumper which probably won't look so good buried in the beach sand from the second half of the video. Which is why we see a more off-road(ish) version of the front bumper that most likely offers a better attack angle during soft-roading.
As we mentioned in the official launch article, the Mercedes-Benz GLA will be offered in the beginning with a choice of four engines (two diesels and two gasoline) with power outputs from 136 (200 CDI diesel) to 211 hp (250 gasoline engine).
Front-wheel drive and a six-speed manual transmission is standard on all models, with the 7-speed dual clutch transmission and the 4Matic all-wheel drive system available as an option.
