Not many carmakers are willing to show their upcoming models wearing kaleidoscopic and eye-confusing camouflage, but Mercedes-AMG are the exception that confirms the rule.
As it happened with the brute going by the name of Mercedes-AMG GT3, we get to see the C63 Coupé covered in camo in a small batch of official pictures published on Facebook by Mercedes-AMG.
Also, Affalterbach is letting us know the model will be revealed online in 23 days (that's August 19) using a countdown timer on Mercedes-AMG's official website.
The teaser images (kind of) show a somewhat ready production version of the Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupé. Although the camo foil is doing its job very well, the car's aggressive shape is impossible to miss. Just search for the beefed up wheel arches, the sloping roofline and the rear wing. Oh, and don't forget about the quad exhaust.
After we saw a recent video showing the Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupé being pushed to its limits on the Nurburgring, we made a clear idea of how Mercedes-Benz plans to challenge the BMW M4.
In its most powerful ego, the AMG C63 S Coupé will offer 510 horsepower and 700 Nm, courtesy of the same 4.0-liter V8 made famous by the AMG GT. Just to put things into perspective, BMW's M4 is good for 431 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque thanks to an inline-six engine, but competition might also come from the likes of Audi and Lexus.
We're almost sure the Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupé will be seen in the metal during this year's Frankfurt Motor Show, so let's be patient and see what the future holds.
