One of the biggest deals in the used superyacht sector this summer and, most likely, this entire year is the recent sale of an enormous Amels Limited Edition. The aptly named New Secret stayed away from prying eyes during the seven years since its launch as an exclusively private toy of its original owner. Having recently emerged from the shadows, this decadent floating palace found a new owner in record time.
The New Secret megayacht has never been available for charter and remained under the same ownership since the time of its launch until now. This means that nobody outside the owner's private circle got to admire this opulent beauty up close, let alone enjoy the cruising experience onboard. It recently changed hands in the same discrete manner, and in record time, after less than five months on the market.

What's mind-blowing is that New Secret was one of the most expensive offers in the used superyacht sector this year. There was nothing discrete about its €99 million ($106 million) price tag, yet someone (most likely another passionate billionaire) was happy to part with that chunk of money for this floating luxury toy.

Indeed, New Secret is a contemporary work of art. Designed by the world-famous Tim Heywood, with naval architecture by Damen Yachting, this Amels 242-footer (74 meters) was turned by the acclaimed Winch Design studio into a floating masterpiece. Contemporary minimalism at its finest enveloped New Secret from the completely white exterior profile to every detail of its neutral, calming interiors.

Amels described this megayacht (the second hull in its Limited Edition range after the famous Plvs Vltra) as having "introspective interiors." The owner's private modern art collection was also named as the main inspiration for the interior design. The owner was rumored to be Polish media mogul Zygmunt Solorz-Zak, a billionaire who was also linked to another famous megayacht, Here Comes the Sun (worth twice as much as New Secret).

This majestic mansion on water boasts three swimming pools. One is a fabulous eight-meter (26 feet) infinity pool on the spectacular main deck aft (unfolding over 180 square meters/1,937 square feet); the second one is a classic raised jacuzzi on the sundeck, and the third one is a circular spa pool at the center of a huge, fully-equipped wellness center.

New Secret also boasts a helipad and opulent dining options for up to 14 guests at once. It can accommodate 12 guests and an enormous 18-person crew (plus the captain). In addition to its exquisite amenities, this behemoth of the oceans can also cover up to 5,000 nautical miles (9,260 km) at more than 12 knots (22 kph).

New Secret's new owner remains secret for now unless he chooses to share this fabulous megayacht with charter customers in the future. For now, he gets to enjoy the summer season onboard a spectacular pleasure craft worth more than $100 million.
