Fortunately, as we mentioned in the title above, this isn't a photo of a McLaren Senna that has been wrecked. Instead, we're dealing with a rendering, as a digital artist decided to portray the British hypercar in such fashion.
The scene portrays the aftermath of the crash and those of you who are familiar with Photoshop jobs might recognize the signs. Regardless, the damage is severe and, judging by what can be seen here, it would be highly unlikely to have an unaffected frame - like all Maccas, the Senna features a carbon tub, so things would get pretty complicated.
This pixel play comes from Yasid Oozear, an artist whose work we featured on multiple occasions. And the inspiration for this piece clearly came from the recent real-world Senna crash (more on this below). In fact, the artist took the time to deliver a brief message along with the image: "What's with Senna owners and writing off their cars recently?"
Returning to the accident that led to this PS stunt, we'll remind you that an example of the 800 horsepower machine was recently involved in a multi-vehicle accident. The crash happened in the UK, with the Senna sustaining serious damage.
And, as you've noticed, the artist uses the plural form in his question and that's because the recent McLaren Senna accident wasn't the first of its kind.
Instead, that title went to a ka-bang that took place in late October. Back then, it seems like the mid-engined vehicle had gone nose-first into a wall, albeit with the damage appearing to be light.
Keep in mind that the price of a Senna sits at about $1 million, at least when such a toy is acquired from its maker - with the British automotive producer only bringing 500 units to the world, the price will go up for private transactions.
