Mansory is a luxury car modification shop located in Germany, but their logo looks like the Swiss flag. So naturally, when we saw photos of their red Porsche Cayenne Turbo, we thought of the legendary Swiss Army knife.
The SUV we are talking about is the new 2016 model year Cayenne Turbo/Turbo S. It has different body thanks to the mid-life facelift, so Mansory have modified their old package to fit.
From the front, things look the same as they did last year. The stock bumper has been replaced by a gigantic grille that lets people know this SUV is really hungry for air. However, Mansory have played a bit with the carbon fiber chin spoiler and the fog lights.
The hood is new as well, since the old one would fit around Porsche's fresh 918-inspired headlights. Mansory has not only made the hood from carbon, but also stuck a couple of trim pieces around the lenses.
Typically, the Cayenne Turbo pumps out 520 hp at 6000 rpm. However, engine mapping has been carried out and now we have 570 prancing ponies. Torque is also up from 750 to 830 Nm, so it's not surprising that they claim 0 to 100 km/h takes only 4.1 seconds.
If you happen to have ordered a Cayenne Turbo S, fret not because there's more power available for you as well. How does 620 hp and 0 to 100 km/h in only 3.8 seconds sound?
Moving on, we have to discuss the changes that have been carried out at the back. Not only do we have a new bumper, but also a trunk lid spoiler and massive exhaust pipes. The Germans also offer flares for the wings, larger wheels and a carbon fiber engine cover. Frankly, there's too much carbon on this Cayenne ever to go offroading.
