A Tesla Cybertruck boarded a cargo plane and flew off to the Middle East. The plane landed in Doha, Qatar, and the Cybertruck is probably already roaming the streets of the capital or the sand dunes.
Cars are usually are usually loaded onto ships and shipped abroad in containers. That is not the case for this Tesla Cybertruck right here. The pickup truck was seen being strapped to a platform, strapped to it, and loaded into a cargo airplane. The vehicle reportedly already landed in Doha, the capital of Qatar.

The video was uploaded to Reddit. The caption reads "Friend loves his Cybertruck so much he's flying it to Qatar." Tesla hasn't even started deliveries in Canada, which is the next in line, not to mention anywhere outside North America.

The one that was shipped to Qatar sparked controversy online. "The irony of using dirty oil money to buy a clean EV," a user points out, while another one asks if the Cybertruck is street-legal in Qatar and other countries it was shipped to. "When you have that kind of money, you decide what is legal," is the answer he gets.

However, there are several Cybertrucks that set wheels in the Middle East. All of them, though, made it to the neighboring country, the United Arab Emirates, not Qatar.

The first one there was one for sale, most likely imported from the United States. At the time, it was by far the most affordable example on the used car market, where the Cybertruck should only be with Tesla's approval unless the purchase contract is breached.

The model was available for sale for 520,000 Dirhams, the equivalent of around $141,000 at the time. It probably sold, because the page where it was listed is currently unavailable, claiming that "this page is lost in the sands." So is that Cybetruck, probably, enjoying the dune-bashing in the desert.

Another Tesla Cybertruck reached Dubai last month as part of a world tour through which the automaker promotes the model in markets where it is not even allowed to drive on public roads, such as Denmark, for instance.

Last month, the model was on display at the City Center Mirdif shopping mall for two days before going to the Jubail Mangrove Park in Abu Dhabi.

However, the one getting all the attention is the Cybertruck that has just joined the Dubai Police fleet. The electric pickup truck showed up in photos shared by the police force, in the company of a Mercedes-AMG G 63 and a Mercedes-Benz G 500 Squared.

The Tesla pickup truck would have dwarfed any other model in the fleet that includes Lamborghinis, Ferraris, and Bentleys, among many other luxury and sports cars. With it and with the one shipped to Qatar by plane, as shown in the Reddit post, the number of Cybertrucks is growing in the Middle East.
