Lucra Cars, an automotive company you probably never heard of until now, is working on a new sportscar. Yes, that's not a mistake, the California-based company is already selling the LC470 model they introduced last year.
The new vehicle, codenamed 2.2, will follow the same recipe that blends a lightweight body and chassis, large V8 engines and the classic long hood & two door design that made the Shelby Cobra and the Dodge Viper famous. In fact, the LC470 looks like a natural evolution of the Cobra.
According to Motor Authority, the Lucra 2.2 will be slightly larger when compared to the company's previous vehicle, but will deliver similar performance. The new sportscar is expected to arrive with a choice of three engines, just like the LC470, including a 6.2-liter LS3 V8, a 7.0-liter LS7 V8 or an AMG 6.3-liter V8.
