Lorinser Restyles the Mercedes E-Klasse Coupe

German tuner Lorinser has revealed information about its Mercedes E-Class Coupe tuning package, due to be launched soon.

An  aerodynamic package has been developed for the German coupe. The front bumper now has adjusted components with LED daytime running lights. The change at the front of the car is accompanied by a fresh radiator grill. New side skirts are also available, together with redesigned door mirrors. At the rear of the car we find a roofspoiler and a discreet rear lip together with a bespoke rear bumper accommodating the stainless steel rear muffler with its 4 tailpipes and the rear diffuser.

Lorinser is offering a wide range of rims for this car, including its latest development, the one-piece 20-inch RS9 rim.

The standard suspension now has new springs, which lower the car by 30 mm. The company has also prepared a manual lowering kit for models which come with Mercedes’ Airmatic air suspension.

Future passengers will be treated with leather-lined floor mats and illuminated door sills. The driver has aluminum pedals to play with and the dashboard now has an instrument cluster scaled up to 330 km/h.

The tuning house is currently developing optimized engine control units which will offer increased performance to the dandyish coupe. We’re hoping that the new displayed maximum speed won’t seem ridiculous compared to the one of the future reworked vehicle.

Lorinser has been a dedicated Mercedes tuner ever since its creation. However, in 2009 the company has created an exterior styling package for the Japanese Lexus LS 460 luxury sedan. Have Mercedes’ feelings been hurt? Probably, but then again we’ll never know.
