Boho chic is not dead – people all over the world still love it, and there's an undeniable compatibility between this particular style and the whole concept of tiny living. These miniature dwellings made of wood seem to be perfectly highlighted by the relaxed, whimsical vibe of boho chic design. The Little Boho is easy to fall in love with, and it's not just an aesthetically pleasing abode; this creative custom tiny is also remarkably practical in terms of storage.
The Little Boho is a compact home on dwellings, ideally suited for one or two owners. It was custom-built for someone who envisioned a dreamy, super cozy home with a clear bohemian vibe. The future owners also made a specific request for generous storage, adding just the right amount of functionality for long-term living. Without this, the Little Boho would have been one of the many boho-style contemporary tiny houses for glamping; with it, it becomes a comfortable residence for uncompromising downsizing.

Built as a dual-loft home, the Little Boho is compact and lightweight, making it easier to transport and relocate. It's only a little over seven meters long (7.2 meters/23.6 feet) and 4.3 meters high (14.1 feet). One of the lofts was specifically designed to be longer, resulting in generous walk-around space, while the smaller one was turned into a lovely elevated lounge.

This second loft is basically a multi-function space that can be used for different things, including storage. The owner chose to turn it into an intimate space for reading and relaxation; the extra-large window provides a beautiful view and enough natural light for reading. Both lofts have an overall minimalist configuration without protection walls or built-in furniture. The lounge loft features a basic metal barrier that doesn't block the view, while the main bedroom is fully open.

This type of layout is great for opening up smaller spaces and enhancing luminosity, but it lacks privacy, which is why it's particularly well-suited for single owners. In terms of access, the smaller loft is connected to a simple ladder, while the main bedroom connects to the ground floor via a classic tiny house staircase with integrated storage. Handrails were also kept to a minimum for the same reason of keeping the overall area as open and unrestricted as possible.

The added walk-around space makes the Little Boho's main bedroom extra cozy, which is what you'd expect in a home designed for indulgent comfort. Two windows flank the queen-sized bed for a boost of light and adequate airflow. The Little Boho has a bit of a beachy vibe, and that has a lot to do with the classic shiplap walls in pure white. The visual contrast between the walls and the natural-toned woodwork throughout creates the perfect canvas for the bohemian-style décor.

Speaking of colors and textures, the interior design for this home stuck to a neutral color palette and natural textures. It sounds more beachy than boho, but the idea was to provide a timeless background for the owner's colorful décor. That is why the beauty of the natural wood shines through without artificial colors or accents. The staircase treads and the kitchen countertop – all made of Maple timber – were only topped with clear lacquer.

The staircase provides even more storage than you'd expect. It incorporates a full-size hanging wardrobe and a pantry. Plus, the transition area between the kitchen and the bathroom serves as a modern laundry with dedicated nooks for a washing machine and a dryer.

The bathroom reveals another surprise in the form of a generous cabinet with open shelves for linen. It's entirely white so that it blends in with the shiplap walls. Plus, the bathroom features a classic vanity and a tiny mirrored cabinet. The shower is full-size, and the toilet is an eco-friendly model. This is a well-equipped and well-organized bathroom, especially considering the overall size of the home.

The kitchen is also big enough to incorporate all the main appliances. It features traditional cupboards and overhead shelves as well, including a lovely round wicker shelf. Circular shapes go well with the Little Boho's dreamy, whimsical style. The bathroom has a big, round mirror, and the lounge area comes with a big, round window – one of the owner's special requests.

For added functionality, a beautiful breakfast bar doubles as a countertop top extension and a dining table for two. The bistro window is a common Aussie feature that helps bring the outdoors in, just like the sliding glass doors. Even though the second loft was designed as a private relaxation area, the Little Boho also has a "formal" lounge downstairs, right underneath the loft. It's big enough for a convertible sofa and wonderfully luminous, especially with the circular window. A wall-mounted TV and LED lights were the final touches to this inviting guest area.

On the outside, the Little Boho tiny is just as aesthetically pleasing. The dark cladding with white trims gives it a fairytale cabin look. As the builder said, it looked like "a present ready to be opened" – indeed, what better gift than a custom-built dream home on wheels?
