Lexus Celebrates London Summer Social Season in Style

From the towers of Docklands to the leafy parks of south west London, Lexus will be everywhere to show that it has enough style to celebrate the city’s social season throughout June in a series of showcase activities. The luxury carmaker’s activities will begin next week at Motorexpo at Canary Wharf, where the LF-A will be adding extra supercar appeal.

Visitors to the annual free show will get the chase not just to see the Lexus performance machine, but also to test drive the new CT 200h hybrid luxury hatchback that will be on display. Also on show will be RX 450h hybrid SUV, IS 250C coupe-convertible and LS 600h hybrid limousine. Its presence at Motorexpo supports Lexus centres in the London region, including Lexus Park Lane, Edgware Road, Sidcup, Croydon, Hatfield, Guildford, Tunbridge Wells, Woodford and Twickenham.

Moving on, the LF-A supercar will also be one of the most exclusive vehicles on show at this year’s Salon Prive, across the capital at Syon Park, near Richmond. Taking place in the grounds of the historic home of the Duke of Northumberland from June 22th to the 24th, the Salon Prive combines the most desirable classic and contemporary cars with an elegant social occasion. As well as the attention-grabbing LF-A, Lexus will also be showing the RX 450h and LS 600h.

A bit further in the social calendar, the sophisticated qualities of the RX 450h will be part of the Wimbledon tennis experience for guests at Cannizaro House hotel, located just a short drive away from the All England Club. Lexus is providing six of its luxury SUVs for the hotel’s chauffeur service, carrying guests to and from the championships between June 20th and July 3rd.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
