Lexus has really managed to secure its place as a top contender for the luxury car market. We’ve been following their new cars and concept closely, and we’re particularly impressed with the spindle grille on the GS sedan and the LF-LS Concept, which we’d love to see put into production.
For the Paris Motor Show 2012, the Japanese automaker has just announced it will be bringing a completely new concept car, one which will make a web pre-debut on the morning of September 27th. Paris will also mark the European debut of the LS 600h F Sport.
Getting back to the Concept at hand, we’d dare to speculate on a few possibilities. One is the a preview for the IS, a model that is all-important for Lexus in Europe, due to its smaller size. A new generation is rumored for next year, and they could preview the design to get a reaction.
Their last such concept was the 2011 LF-Gh Concept that previewed the GS sedan. But before tat there was the 2009 LF-Ch shown in Frankfurt to preview the CT 200h that came the following year.
Another possibility is a hybrid car smaller than the CT 200h. Rumors about a Prius C derivative from Lexus have been circulating for a few months, but we thing Paris is too soon to show such a car.
autoevolution will be attending the Paris Motor Show 2012, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
