The holiday season makes us think about our favorite toys and while our real-life ones may be stuck in the snow, nobody can stop us from playing with the ones that fit in our living rooms.
The latest example of this kind that caught out eye is the Back to the Future Delorean Time Machine, which is scheduled to come to life in the LEGO world next year.
As you can see in the image below, the set not only includes the DeLorean Time Machine, but also Marty and Doc, a skateboard and other goodies.
The kit was submitted to the Lego Cuusoo user-based design website and managed to pass a complex review process before it received the production green light. It was created by a team of designers led by Masashi Togami, a part-time contractor for the aforementioned website. The designer will donate his one-percent earnings to the Michael J. Fox foundation for Parkinson's Research.
The video below shows the other projects that competed with the DeLorean Time Machine kit and also brings you details about the Cuusoo evaluation process.
