We’ve been interested in classic cars built out of LEGO ever since that famous VW Bus hit the scene, with its adjustable everything and intricate design. Fortunately, this is nowhere near as complicated but that doesn’t mean it’s not easy on the eye. What was recreated here is a replica of one of the most famous racing Porsches of all time, the 1978 version of the 935, nicknamed Moby Dick for its whale-tail.
According to CarBuzz, this model car was built by passionate LEGO builder Malte Dorowski complete with the Martini sponsor color scheme. It’s even got a fire extinguisher inside, a roll cage, red wheels and an air splitter.
The white body of the car hides a recreation of the racing legend’s 3.2-liter flat-six that in the real car would have put out a staggering 845 hp with 1.7 bars of boost or 750 hp with 1.5 bars of boost.
