Have you ever seen a Toyota Prius carrying a coffin? Or one of these Japanese green machines on fire? You can see all that and many more less-than-cool Prius poses on the “Left Lane Prius” Facebook page.
Yep, somebody made a page for hating Prius drivers who hug the fast lane. People keep posting regular updates, so this is one community that seems to be having constant activity.
As you can see in the image above, supercar drivers are no strangers to this community. Oh and you’ll also find plenty of guys who drive your average vehicles.
Especially when you’re frustrated after some Prius gets in your way, it’s extremely easy to go on Facebook and post.
Then again, sometimes such FB pages can act as blow-off valves, releasing the extra pressure. Don’t get us wrong, we’re not fans of online hating. But if this is what certain people have to turn to in order to refrain from brake checking those driving Prii, we think it’s not all that dark.
We’ve all met that one Prius guy or girl who makes a big deal out of his/her MPG and floods the car with stickers that only end up annoying you even more as you have to slow down and sit behind them. In the end, it’s all a matter of common sense and we’re referring to both camps here. Until people figure that out and do what they have to do, you can check out some visual examples of left lane hugging in the gallery below.
There’s nothing like hate to bring people together
A quick glance at the people who feed this Facebook page reveals they come from all parts of the car world. Some of them drive trucks, be they lifted or not, while others prefer the performance vehicle approach. As you can see in the image above, supercar drivers are no strangers to this community. Oh and you’ll also find plenty of guys who drive your average vehicles.
