You may not expect a Land Rover Defender seven-seater to be the kind of car used for a customization project that includes items such as quilted, perforated leather. However, this seems to have become the usual business for British tuner Kahn, which has recently released the Chelsea Defender.
Based on a Land Rover Defender 2.2 TDCI XS 110, the vehicle features multiple exterior custom elements. These include a front grille, front apron lights, xenon crosshair headlights, mesh-style bonnet vents, a front sump guard, mud flaps, exhaust shields, a custom tailgate logo, wing badges, as well as a Chelsea truck company spare wheel cover.
In addition, Kahn’s defender rides on 1983 RS Defend wheels, which come in a 18x8-inch size all-round, being wrapped in 265/65 R18 rubber.
Climbing aboard, we find Sports GTB seats, a Kahn single-spoke steering wheel, custom dashboad instruments, special floor mats, a Kahn fire extinguisher, Churchill time clock facia insert, as well as aluminum pedals. The tuner has spread materials like quilted & perforated leather, as well as Alcantara, all around the cabin.
The final touch comes from a Kahn twin crosshair exhaust system, which promises to change the voice of the diesel powerplant.
