By now, many of you have had the chance to check out the Lamborghini Urus in the flesh. However, seeing the Sant'Agata Bolognese SUV parked or moving in city traffic is one thing and being able to witness its continent-blitzing abilities is another one.
As such, we've brought along an adventure that sees the Lamborghini Urus going flat out on public roads. An unrestricted section of the Autobahn was chosen for the task, which why you'll be able to see the Raging Bull passing cars at 300 km/h (make that 186 mph).
And since the German highway only comes with two lanes, such moments are pretty intense. Note that the clip depicting the action is the POV type, so you'll be fully immersed in the shenanigan. Nevertheless, please don't use this as an excuse for breaking the speed limit, since there aren't too many places when one can put the hammer down in the fashion seen here.
With its 650 horsepower, the twin-turbo V8 animating the Urus is worthy of the badge, even though the rumor mill talks about the possibility of an even more powerful version - here's a rendering that portrays such a proposal.
Truth be told, the Urus is more than an SUV for Lamborghini. And that's because the high-rider currently fills in the void created by the automotive producer delaying the rebirth of its front-engined Grand Tourer.
You see, the Italian did try to pull such a stunt be teasing us with the splendid Estoque concept, but the four-door coupe was dropped in favor of the Urus.
The Raging Bull did drop a few hints on the return of ite GT line. To be more precise, such a Lambo could come next decade, albeit as part of the Volkwagen Group's all-electric revolution.
Who knows? Perhaps that's why certain aficionados are angry and want to chop up front-engined Lamborghinis (here's an Espada that has been given the Rat Rod treatment).
