Sometimes, having the latest and greatest Lamborghini doesn't automatically mean getting the best-in-class supercar. However, owning both a Revuelto and a Ferrari SF90 helps smooth things over. This rings true, especially when you take these two amazing performance cars and race the legendary Porsche 918 Spyder. Now, let's see what each one is armed with.
The revered Revuelto nameplate was part of a revolution at Lamborghini that signaled to the entire automotive world how the manufacturer embraces the electrification era.

This model proudly has a 6.5-liter V12 engine that can deliver 814 hp or 825 ps. However, it has three electric motors, two at the front and one for the rear wheels only, which boost that power to 1,001 horsepower or 1,015 ps with a whopping 783 lb-ft or 1,062 Nm of torque. The V12 is securely connected to an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox that sends all that power to all four wheels.

It weighs 3,906 lbs. or 1,772 kg, which helps it get from 0 to 62 mph (100 kph) in just 2.5 seconds under the right conditions, with a 1/4-mile time of 9.7 sec. The top speed on this plum-colored monster is 217 mph or 349 kph.

Because we're talking about a Lamborghini, the word "cheap" isn't remotely close to the Revuelto; we're talking about different area codes. If you're sitting down, this model was exactly 446,742 British pounds (GBP), translating into 552,575 US dollars. If you were to buy one from the United States, that price tag could very well show $608,358. Driving it is Mat Watson from the "carwow" YouTube channel.

Now for the other Italian supercar with a shield on its "hood," the Ferrari SF90 Stradale. The nameplate was initially launched in 2019 as the first Ferrari PHEV or plug-in hybrid electric vehicle. The name SF90 actually comes from Scuderia Ferrari's 90th anniversary.

The 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo mid-mounted engine behind the cockpit is aided by three electric motors, two on the front axle and one on the rear, delivering a total of 986 hp or exactly 1,000 ps with 590 lb-ft or 800 Nm of torque. The power goes through its 8-speed automatic transmission system and hits all four wheels, accelerating from 0 to 62 mph in 2.5 seconds. Dry, it weighs 3,461 lbs. or 1,570 kg, which is partly responsible for getting it to a max speed of 211 mph or 340 kph.

The Porsche 918 Spyder is last on our list. It has a 4.6-liter twin-turbo naturally aspirated V8 engine that accompanies two electric motors to produce 875 horsepower or 887 ps with 944 lb-ft (1,280 Nm) of torque. It weighs roughly 3,690 lbs. or 1,674 kg. The 918 Spyder also likes to drive all four wheels via its 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, but the scariest thing about it is the $1,607,968 current price.

After they started racing down the quarter-mile, something peculiar began to occur. The Revuelto had the SF90 after launch, but the Ferrari slowly crept up behind and won the first event fair and square. Sadly, the Porsche finished last in every race, so we'll focus on the other two rides.

During the second drag race, the SF90, driven by its owner, ended up behind the Revuelto at the finish line, and because he seemed to be partial to the Lambo winning the race, he and Mat Watson switched cars. Surprise, surprise, the SF90 won two more races with flying colors.

The numbers don't lie, so let's see how fast they went down the quarter mile. The Ferrari SF90 Stradale finished in 9.6 seconds. The Lamborghini Revuelto did it in 9.9 seconds, while the poor Porsche 918 Spyder crossed the finish line after 10.1 seconds.

They went for a few 1/2-mile roll races where the SF90 was simply unstoppable. While the owner was initially slightly disappointed by the Lambo's performance against the Ferrari, he instantly felt better after remembering that he owned both. Also, winning the brake test at 100 mph in the Revuelto also helped with his morale.
