Lamborghini’s Aventador seems to be enjoying a fair bit of success, for a supercar, that is! According to gtspirit.com, they have sold over 1,000 cars so far and only six of them have been crashed. We say that is a pretty good record, considering the fact that the really well-off people who buy it don’t really drive it fast, but merely pose in it.
That is why, when they do decide to go fast, they are usually in the ‘commercial quarter’ of some large city and end up crashing into an office building. Kind of like this white Aventador which was crashed in Macau, China. This means that there are now a total of seven crashed Aventadors - still a good record for over 1,000 cars.
Thankfully, none have been written off so far, so that makes the situation even better. Guess our theory of ‘more money than sense’ when it comes to Lamborghini buyers is no longer accurate.
