It’s been a while since we last heard anything about Ferrari’s upcoming LaFerrari supercar, and we were starting to wonder whether the Italians are still busy working on their masterpiece.
Well, it turns out they are, a fact that’s confirmed by a pair of videos that surfaced on YouTube a few days ago. The footage shows a LaFerrari prototype being tested on public roads just outside Maranello without its familiar rosso corsa body color.
As a quick reminder, the LaFerrari, which is the company’s first hybrid vehicle, is powered by a V12 gasoline engine and electric motor combo rated at 963 HP. The car can reach an electronically-limited top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph) and achieve the 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint in under 3 seconds. Pricing is set at about €1.3 million ($1.7 million).
