The most impressive concept car ever to wear the viking ship logo came in the form of the Lada Xray, a three-door crossover with a frozen brown exterior and futuristic interior.
The car designed by Steve Mattin features and X-shaped front end. This will be Lada’s new trademark shape and will be shown on all future models. Meanwhile, the side features indentations that remind us of the Peugeot 208 in a way.
The small crossover seats four adults in a leather-clad interior that’s well illuminated in ambient light. The boot is large and the suspension doesn’t cut in too much on the sides, but the shape of the hatch is sloped, flanked by vertical taillights like on a Ford Focus. The dash features a large display for navigation and entertainment at the very top. The instruments are well thought out, with the speedometer in the middle, a large fuel gouge on the left and the revs on the right.
Right now, this is only a concept for Lada, and we don’t have any reports of engines or the platform. But the design is a good place to start.
