Kia Motors Europe has just announced that Mr Ho Sung Song has been confirmed as their new president affective immediately. He replaces Mr Byung-Tae (Brandon) Yea. Mr Song.
The new president has had several senior management positions before being appointed President of Kia Motors France in 2007 for nearly three years. He also helped improve Hyundai's business in Europe during 2012.

On his appointment, Mr Song said: “I’m excited to take on this role as President of Kia Motors Europe and look forward to continuing the good work of my predecessor, supported by the dedicated and talented team here in Frankfurt.  There are strong opportunities to drive further growth in sales and market share thanks to the exceptional new Kia product range that exhibits world-class qualities and excellent value.”

Kia is among the few car brands in Europe that has managed to keep its momentum through the European crisis. The Korean brand has seen a sales increase from 295,000 in 2011 to 338,000 in 2012.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
