Jorge Lorenzo is the reigning MotoGP champion and is a very nice guy, altogether, but being involved in such a team means that sponsors have to be happy, too. And for this, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do: act a bit silly.
This has nothing to do with Jorge, bikes, Sector watches (which by the way, are really cool) or the girls: it's the very script that's iffy and ultimately, a bit silly.
First of all being turned down because of a yellow watch (looking a bit like G-Shock, but this is another story) is silly. However, there's more to the silly part, too: if a watch is so important for these girls, how come they didn't notice it in the first place?
Finally, are we expected to believe that they met again by chance, with Jorge wearing his all-new Sector, or what? Have the girls been secretly following him, or was he wandering all over the place, occasionally shouting something like "Hey, ladies! Where are you, dammit? I got a new watch, come see it, would you!"
As for the ending scene, things are even funnier, and not only because he's riding a sidecar bike, but because he has helmets for the two ladies. Now if we're willing to discard all the above, the Sector ad is just right and we can enjoy the pretty ladies. We here smiled broadly and then returned to Jorge's more interesting life. As for the suited guy in the end, he should know by now that corporate men don't stand a chance with bikers. Ha!
