A little bit earlier, we were talking about the most efficient vehicle in the US. Now that we found out which 2012 model year cars will keep your hand out of your pocket the longest, it is time to see which vehicles have the best resale value.
Thanks to the recently-published Kelley Blue Book’s 2012 best resale value awards, we can tell you that the 2012 Jeep Wrangler is the best depreciation shield money can buy, with a predicted residual value of 55 percent of the original price over a five-year period.
The Wrangler only marginally beat Toyota’s competitor at this game - the FJ Cruiser will hold 50 percent of its value in the aforementioned conditions. The list goes on with the Toyota Tacoma, Hyundai Tucson, Audi Q7, 2012 Honda CR-V (the car hasn’t even arrived on the market!), Lexus RX, Nissan Frontier and, proving that sports cars aren't necessarily bad business, the Chevrolet Camaro.
