Back in July 2012, we tested the Jeep Wrangler Facelift and found it does exactly what it says on the box and so much more. We loved the go-anywhere attitude, which is clearly this 4x4's big selling point.
Now though, Fiat Group wants you to have even more fun and has revealed the Wrangler Polar Limited Edition, revealed today ahead of a Frankfurt Motor Show debut.
The first thing you'll need to know is that it comes with a special Hydro Blue exterior finish and a black interior. On the wings of the car, they've placed little badges that give you the coordinates of Vostok, Antarctica, where the lowest temperature was ever recorded.
To take you there and back again, the Polar edition comes standard with heated front seats, leather steering wheel, automatic climate control and can be fitted with a 6.5-inch Uconnect system with 40GB HDD so you don't get mored.
Available in the first quarter of 2014 for two-door Wrangler and four-door Wrangler Unlimited, the Polar 4x4 can be equipped with either the 2.8-liter CRD rated at 200 hp and 460 Nm of torque or a 3.6-liter V6 petrol with 284 hp and 347 Nm of torque, though only in select markets.
