What's the common denominator between the mighty Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, the feisty Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, and a Ford Mustang GT? Actually, there are two of them.
Firstly, if the latter is an S550 sixth generation, they're all extinct. Secondly, if they're all together at the local quarter-mile dragstrip, it could all turn into a racing massacre. But here, let us get you through everything that occurs first.

So, the most powerful ICE-equipped crossover or SUV that's coming to market is the 789-horsepower Lamborghini Urus SE, a plug-in hybrid ultra-luxury behemoth. However, not long ago, the Mopar family held the crown – lastly, with help from the Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat and the related Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, one packing 710 hp and the other just shy of that with 707 horsepower.

Well, some folks will surely say that a Jeep Trackhawk will always remain better than those fancy $500k jewels – especially when tuned flawlessly to destroy just about everything present at the local quarter-mile dragstrip. Here, just in case you need an eloquent example, the good folks over at the racing-focused ImportRace channel on YouTube are briefly out of their usual venue - Island Dragway in Great Meadows, New Jersey.

So, instead of Island Dragway, they're back for another stint at Bradenton Motorsports Park, where they filmed during the latest Street Car Takeover event an unsuspecting Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. Well, the SUV probably didn't care about being filmed and was rather hard at work trying to school a couple of sports car opponents of the American pony and muscle car variety.

First and foremost, the Trackhawk duked it out with a fellow Mopar – the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. This opponent can easily be turned even nastier than OEM by the free-spirited aftermarket realm. We don't know if that was the case here, but the muscle car sure did its best to put up a good fight. It simply wasn't enough, though, as the big SUV shot out like a rocket and nailed the first 'roadkill' of the dragstrip day – 9.88s versus 10.57s. That was close, but not close enough.

Secondly, after dealing with a member of the Mopar family, the feisty Jeep decided to turn on a common enemy – the S500 Ford Mustang pony car, with the opponent most likely being a modded GT version equipped with the iconic 5.0-liter Coyote V8. Well, the SUV again made short work of the sports car in the other lane – and the quick Mustang still got massacred (9.97s versus 10.73s). Flawless victories, right? Luckily, that wasn't the case of a Mortal Kombat situation, and instead, it was just a 'friendly' encounter at the quarter-mile dragstrip. Safe and cool, for sure!
