Jeep Rocks & Road Tour Kicks Off

The new advertising strategy American manufacturer Chrysler devised for its Jeep brand this year continues with the launch of the Jeep Rocks & Road Tour, an on- and off-road driving experience which will offer future customers the chance to experience the Jeep vehicles at first hand.

The tour will start on July 16 in Syracuse, New York and will span through October 31. Jeeps will be attending air shows and auto shows, fairs and festivals throughout the US.

“We have created the 'Jeep Rocks & Road Tour' to provide our current and potential customers with an adventurous experience that is exclusive to the Jeep brand,” Mike Manley, Jeep Brand CEO said in a statement.

“We are partnering with various venues across the country to reach out to our loyal Jeep consumers, while branching out to those with new interest in the one-of-a-kind Jeep brand. This tour provides an ideal venue to experience the countless features and legendary capability offered in the all-new 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, as well the as in other vehicles in the Jeep brand family.”

The tour will be attending the following events:

  • July 16 – 18 Syracuse Nationals Syracuse, N.Y.
  • July 23 – 25 Columbus Jazz and Rib Fest Columbus, Ohio
  • July 30 – Aug. 1 Rockford AirFest 2010 Rockford, Ill.
  • Aug. 6 – 8 Indiana State Fair Indianapolis
  • Aug. 20 – 22 Westfield International Air Show Boston
  • Aug. 27 – 29 Offutt Defenders of Liberty Air Show Omaha, Neb.
  • Sept. 3 – 5 Thunder Over the Blue Ridge Air Show Martinsburg, W. Va.
  • Sept. 17 – 19 Oceana Air Show Virginia Beach, Va.
  • Sept. 30 – Oct. 2 Bikes, Blues and BBQ’s Festival Fayetteville, Ark.
  • Oct. 8 – 10 Metrolina Expo Center Charlotte, N.C.
  • Oct. 29 – 31 Forth Worth Alliance Air Show Forth Worth, Texas
