Jaguar Land Rover UK proudly announced today that that its retail sales have increased 11 percent in September. The 10,769 vehicles they delivered represents the best result for this particular month and adds up to a 13 percent increase in year-to-date sales.
Land Rover recorded a 30% increase demand for the Defender, while the flagship Range Rover was up 24%. Version September 2012, the Evoque also saw increased sales by 35%.
In 2013 sales of the XF are up 12 percent and the XJ by 6%. Over 1,000 British customers also demanded the new F-Type so far.
“The September sales figures tangibly demonstrate that both Jaguar and Land Rover continue to focus on relevant and highly-desirable product line-ups," said Jeremy Hicks, Jaguar Land Rover UK Managing Director.
“With the recent introduction of the all-new Range Rover Sport and F-TYPE coupled with the continued success of our well established models, we have seen more new customers than ever purchasing Jaguar Land Rover award-winning products. Indeed, our new 2014 model year offerings across both brands will be hitting showrooms shortly and will see us build on the successes of the 2013 range."
