The general public’s first ever chance to see the new F-Type roadster in action will be the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed, as the new sportscar is scheduled to make an appearance there between June 28 to July 1.
The car will likely still be covered up in camouflage, but we’d still go to Goodwood just to hear the new supercharged 3-liter V6 engine be thrashed up the famous hill climb circuit at the hands of Jaguar’s Head of Vehicle Integrity, Mike Cross.
"Goodwood Festival of Speed is focused around the dynamic hill runs where the public can see, hear and smell the cars – this is why we have chosen it as the place to showcase an F-TYPE prototype," says Adrian Hallmark, Global Brand Director of Jaguar Cars.
"The development programme is progressing with vigour and we look forward to showing the world the F-TYPE in production form later this year,” he added.
