Cue the ominous music: it's a murdered-out Ferrari Purosangue, and we love it. Well, murdered out to some extent, as it also boasts a few lively touches that provide a well-deserved contrast.
Images of it made their way to social media on Novitec's channels a few days back, and we think this might just be one of the most sinister Ferrari Purosangues out there. This V12-powered super crossover is black on all body panels, save for the yellow accents on the nose and front quarter panels and the similarly finished brake calipers.

You may look for weird body kits as long as you want, though you won't find one on this Ferrari Purosangue. The bumpers, side skirts, discreet apron, sporty diffuser, rear wing, integrated tailgate spoiler, and so on came straight from the Maranello factory. Even the exhaust tips look OEM to us, and the only novelty is the wheelset. The Novitec alloys are called the NF-10 and came from Wheels Boutique's portfolio.

Scroll all you want through the images the famous tuner released on social media a few days back, but you won't find any shots of the interior. That's a pity, as it would've been wonderful to spot the colors of the cockpit. In an ideal world, this Purosangue would have red leather upholstery and a few touches of black inside. However, since Novitec couldn't be bothered with revealing the cabin, that's just our two cents.

Under the hood lies a V12. The naturally aspirated motor has a 6.5-liter displacement and produces an impressive 715 horsepower (725 ps/533 kW). That's more than you'd get in any stock Lamborghini Urus if you're keeping track of that. The thrust is rated at 528 pound-foot (716 Nm), and everything goes to the all-wheel drive system through a DCT with eight forward gears. The Prancing Horses quotes 0-62 mph (0-100 kph) in 3.3 seconds, or some three-tenths quicker than the mighty Enzo, and a 193+ mph (310+ kph) top speed.

The Purosangue is Ferrari's first-ever high-rider and a great daily driver, so long as you do not care about fuel consumption. Nevertheless, anyone who is fortunate enough to afford it likely doesn't give a flying hoot about the equivalent of 13.6 US mpg (17.3 l/100 km) combined, as this model kicks off from almost $400,000 in our market, yet throw in the destination charge, the dealer fees, and tick some boxes on the options list, and it will quickly rise to half a million dollars.

Production of the Purosangue started at Ferrari's factory in Maranello, Italy, last year, and the super crossover shares some nuts and bolts with the Roma, which replaced the Portofino that served as a successor to the California T.
