The Mercedes S-Klasse can be regarded as a display of automotive technologies, which is why releasing a proper modification package for the German luxury saloon can be quite a challenge. We suspect that this is exactly what motivated Inden Design to release a tuning kit for the S500,
The development is aimed at bringing the vehicle closer to the S65 AMG. The exterior modifications include a front apron, side skirts and a rear diffuser. As for the interior, this has received a leather-Alcantara finish, carbon fiber trimming and a speedometer that goes up to 360 km/h (224 mph).
The vehicle’s V8 engine has been fitted with a stainless steel exhaust system, as well as with other mods, which allow it to deliver 420 hp. In order to handle the new power level, the S-Klasse has received a barking system borrowed from the S600 and with a lowering suspension that brings it 50 mm closer to the road. The vehicle rides on 20-inch rims that use 265/30 tires for the front axle and 275/30 tires for the rear axle. And there's one more thing: the electronic speed limiter has been killed.
“An icon of good style in the luxury class is the Mercedes-Benz S-Class without any doubts. The widely known beyond the borders of the Hessian Haiger-Flammersbach noble tuner INDEN Design specializes in the just discussed vehicles, located very near the top category. In this case, Joachim Inden, which is known for so many masterpieces, has undertaken to rebuild the S500 of W221 series from Stuttgart to the facelift version of the S65 AMG,” stated the press release.
