Has anyone looked at Mercedes' all-electric sedans? They seem based on the same coordinates – aerodynamics dictate the looks, and they all end up looking like half-empty eggshells.
Of course, beauty is always in the eye of the beholder, and some folks do appreciate the style of the Mercedes EQE Sedan and EQS Sedan. Not many, though, judging by the lackluster sales and their prices – in America, the EQE starts from $75k, and the EQS Sedan is $104,400. Maybe the MSRPs aren't the issue, even though Tesla offers the mid-size Model 3 from $39k and the full-size Model S from $73k.

Obviously, Mercedes-Benz prides itself on being a luxury brand through and through, while Tesla has clearly gone mainstream with its new pricing strategy. So, perhaps a better comparison could be made with the newly refreshed 2025 Porsche Taycan – the base Taycan is also very expensive at $99,400. The Taycan 4S is $118,500 and the Taycan Turbo already hits $173,600.

However, some folks say this is the definitive EV sedan – both luxurious, sporty, and efficient. Plus, it's even better now because the engineers turned it into an energy monster – more powerful, more energy-efficient, and rocking higher figures for the battery packs without any platform changes. Also, the new Taycan Turbo GT also plays in the hyper-sedan league alongside the 1,020-hp Tesla Model S Plaid and the 1,234-hp Lucid Air Sapphire – it truly belongs there now.

However, Mercedes is a long way from there with its EQE and EQS sedans – they're just like Kinder eggs with no surprises inside. Clearly, someone needs to do something to spice things up. No worries, as always, the rumor mill or the imaginative realm of digital car content creators comes to the rescue. More precisely, Giorgi Tedoradze, the Georgia-based industrial designer better known as tedoradze.giorgi on social media, recently had a new idea about the fate of Mercedes-Benz design.

He threw across the parallel universes of vehicular CGI one of his alternative design projects – after BMW, it was only natural to focus on their rivals at Mercedes. The pixel master worked on the A-Class, the C-Class, and then also the S-Class to try and instill them with more styling confidence – unofficially and hypothetically, of course. But then he also threw a fit – an all-new 2026 Mercedes-Benz F-Class sedan design project simply took the automaker's current design and refined it into something completely new.

Interestingly, while the long and sleek design felt like an ICE-powered creation from the front because of the classic but vertically-slated radiator grille, it turns out the CGI expert wanted this as a foil on the 2025 Porsche Taycan. How do we know that? Well, it's simple – he directly compared them and asked the social media fanbase which one is better. So, what's your take on the story?
