Ever wonder why Hummer went under? It's probably not for having to little chrome on the wheels and grille, but it could have something to do with the fact that the rugged-looking H2 was nothing more than a simple old Chevy Tahoe in disguise.
America found out the hard way what Hummer was all about, but because they are half a world apart, the Russians still think the H2 represents the American dream; freedom, exploring the great outdoors, just you and your all-wheel drive V8 motor.
Sadly, the realty is a little different, as this funny Russian video proves. Instead of powering over any obstacle like a beast on wheels, the H2 actually struggles to mount a small block of concrete, basically a glorified curb. Instead of sending the power to the wheel that does the climbing, the Hummer sends it to the back and spins the wheels uselessly.
After a while, the H2 gets tired of trying, digs itself into the snow and remains stuck there. Far from being a go-anywhere vehicle, it becomes a go-nowhere humiliation.
