When your grandfather was rich and your parents didn’t lose any of it, you tend to be a bit more mature when it comes to buying cars. The usual tuner’s work of outrageously loud car with lots of chrome might not appeal. But if you have that racing blood pumping its way through you, and old Aston or Merc with its mechanical flaws might not be enough.
And thats where modern day classics built with old lines and new technology come in. In case of the Huet Brothers latest sports coupe proposal, you’ll have to admit that nothing looks out of place on the outside. But the body is built around a carbon fiver monocoque and should only weigh 1,159 kg or 2,555 lbs.

As for that BMW power they promise, there are two cool engines to choose from. There’s the 3.0-liter straight-six that will provide a racy attitude, and also one of our favorite diesels ever, the 204 hp 2.0-liter you see in the 123d version of the 1-Series Coupe. The HB Coupe will thus be able to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.3 seconds for the 3.0L or 5.6 seconds when running on diesel power.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
