Happened to ram someone else’s car from behind in your Corolla and the insurance doesn’t cover your damage? Well, at least you can cut the spendings by replacing your front bumper by yourself.
It’s not rocket science, all you have to do is unscrew some bolts and unplug two wires. Tools required: Phillips and flat headed screwdrivers, 10mm socket ratchet and extension as well as a replacement Corolla bumper.

- Open the hood and following the bumper’s contour find all the screws and mounting points. Don’t forget to look under the wheel arch liner for the hidden ones
- Unscrew all the bolts found and pop out the connectors according to the video bellow
- Start prying the bumper from one side and continue to the other side in order to free it
- Remove it and don’t forget to disconnect the cables going to the fog lights
- Put the new one on by following the same instructions in reverse order.
