The Horex VR6 has been in the works for a few years now, and against all odds, the narrow-angle V6 bike looks production ready in a recent official video posted by the manufacturer. If you haven’t heard of the Horex, it is a german motorbike builder, founded back in 1920 and operating until 1960 when it was taken over by Daimler-Benz and motorbike production was terminated.
In 2010, it was announced that the company was being revived, with the help of this, the VR6 six-cylinder bike. It has been it the works now for two years, and in spite of all the negative odds, the bike has now reached production form and is undergoing final testing before launch.
The main feature of the motorcycle is, of course, its unique narrow-angle V6 engine. Displacing 1215cc, it puts out 161 hp, and with a supercharged version on the way, it will probably exceed the 200 hp mark easily. It also sounds amazing, for a bike engine, and it will definitely give its rider a very unique feeling, not foundin on any other bike.
Just listen to that engine sound! Needed more revs, though.
