Honda Offers To Each Their Own Civic

The Civic line-up has been redesigned for the 2012 model year, now featuring six distinct models: the conventional gasoline-powered Civic Sedan and Civic Coupe, two high-performance Civic Si models, a gasoline-electric Civic Hybrid, a Civic Natural Gas and an all-new Civic HF high fuel economy model.

The Civic went on-sale at Honda’s Nort American dealerships on April 20 with a suggested retail price starting at $15,605.

With such a wide variety of models customers can choose from, Honda brags there’s a Civic for anyone out there, matching their personality and lifestyle. This is also reflected in its latest ad campaign, “To Each Their Own.”

The multiplatform campaign features Aiko, the ninja, Cesar, the luchador Jack, the urban woodsman, Mitch, the zombie and Teeny, the monster and is composed of five TV spots ("Apartment," "Woodsman," "Zombie," "Ninja," "Monster"), print placements, out-of-home, home-page takeovers and display advertising.

In the adjacent spot, these five very different characters get ready to leave for work in the morning, each in a different Civic model. A Coupe for Cesar, a HF for Teeny, a Hybrid for Jack, a Sedan for Mitch, and an Si for Aiko. Now, depending on which character you relate best, you can go and take home your own Civic.

Ok, we’ll admit. The first thing that crossed our minds after we first saw this video was in now way related to the new Civic, but we felt like watching a promo video of what it looks like the morning before a Sci-Fi and animation convention. But who are we to judge?

Those who are curious to know the song from the ad below, it’s "Introducing" by Snake & Jet's Amazing Bullit Band. Just sayin’...
