Honda Jazz Tops Consumer Satisfaction Survey

The British division of Honda proudly announced today it has managed to appear within the top three manufacturers for five years running in JD Power’s Vehicle Ownership Satisfaction Study (VOSS). This year, it has managed to repeat the feat again with the Jazz model, which finished first in class for the seventh year in a row.

This leaves the Jazz with an unbroken record since it was first included in the 2004 results. In the overall model ranking, however, the Jazz finished seventh overall.

But this is not the only model in Honda’s lineup to be recognized by the survey. The Accord finished fifth in the overall model ranking table, with the CR-V in ninth place.

The manufacturer managed to improve the most in the service satisfaction area, which increased from a score of 824 to 840 points, moving from fifth to second in that section. This also contributed to the manufacturer’s overall rating, which improved from 81.7% (in 2010) to 82.5%, coming in second place after Lexus.

“We’re particularly pleased to see the increase in our service scores, as that’s been an area of focus for us over the past year. Our dealers are putting in a lot of hard work to ensure satisfaction, so it’s good to see our customers reporting improvements. It’s also an amazing result for the Jazz, which continues to exceed expectation and seems destined to hold on to that top spot in its class forever!” Matt Gibson, Head of Customer and After Sales at Honda (UK), said in a release.
