Two Brothers Racing (TBR) is expanding the range of available products in the all-new Tarmac exhaust series with a special silencer for the 2014 Honda CBR250R. This move may come a little late, as Honda has already announced that its new CBR300R will soon make it into the worldwide markets, and this move will surely trigger lower sales for the quarter-liter machines in favor of the bigger, more powerful ones.
However, as we know that there are a lot of riders out there who are looking for ways to squeeze the very last drop of power from their machines, the new TBR Tarmac silencer will definitely be one of the choices well worth checking out. The Honda CBR250R Tarmac is a slip-on can crafted from aerospace-grade high-temperature carbon fiber, with a stainless steel machined inlet and a black billet CNC’d outlet.

Tarmac exhausts come with a new, trapezoidal-shaped section, providing better clearance allowing riders to lean more through the turns, and installing it is a breeze. The bracket mounted on the can allows the use of a rubber grommet, further reducing vibrations. The Tarmac comes with a removable noise reducing insert called T-Tip, and a spiral-wound perforated core.

With a short profile which is visually unobtrusive as it is sporty, the new Honda CBR250R Tarmac exhaust also comes with the throaty, characteristic tone of all TBR cans, and is supplied with all the necessary hardware, tubing and installation instructions.

The Two Brothers racing Tarmac silencer for the 2014 Honda CBR250R is available for just under $700 (€515), and TBR recommends it for track use only, as it may not be street-legal in all countries or states. Honestly, we are really expecting the 2015 CBR300R version of the Tarmac. And please TBR, show some tech specs, too!
