Honda Accord Crosstour Teaser Number 3

A new teaser of the upcoming Accord Crosstour was released today by Japanese manufacturer Honda, bringing the total number of little glimpses of the newcomer to three. Even so, on the more practical side, no official confirmation about the technical specs of the Crosstour has yet been made by Honda.

After the first two teaser revealed a bit about the front end of the new Honda, this one moves towards the back to reveal a piece of the Crosstour's quarter panel. And that's about it.

Which leaves us with no choice but to wait for other hints and tips about the newcomer to be released. As you know by now, the official release of the Crosstour will take place on Tuesday September 1, so its likely for Honda to step up the "leakages".

Until then, rumor goes the Crosstour will be equipped with an MDX 3.8l engine, the same one found on the ZDX. The two 2.4l four cylinder engines (developing 177 and 190 hp) are also said to make it under the hood of the new crossover, as does the 3.5l V6, with an output of 271 hp.

Expected to go on sale as soon as it is unveiled, the Crosstour will be accompanied by the rumored coupe version of the same Accord. Expected to join the range in between the TSX and TL, the coupe is said to be powered by 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine generating somewhere around 200 horsepower.

Also in September, the 2010 CR-V will be unveiled, coming with a number of different changes, including new front bumper, grille and alloy wheels.
