Hennessey Prepares For 4th of July With New VelociRaptor Bronco and F-150 Freedom Series

Hennessey Performance, based out of Texas, is one of the most renowned American tuners in the world – and they focus on local products because they believe that "the American dream never sleeps." Well, some of their latest products are a proof of that statement – such as the Ford Mustang H850 Dark Horse, which makes the Coyote V8 muscle car even more potent than the $325k Mustang GTD. Then there are also the Ford Raptor R VelociRaptor 1000, H850 Cadillac Escalade-V, the Last Stand Mammoth 1000 Ram 1500 TRX with no less than 1,012 horsepower, or the Chevy Camaro ZL1 The Exorcist Final Edition, among others.

But since Independence Day is just around the corner, this time around, Hennessey has something special for anyone looking to celebrate the 4th of July properly. By the way, this bodes well for their recent partnership with Bring a Trailer and Pennzoil for a once-in-a-lifetime charity auction in support of the Wounded Warrior Project. The pack includes an all-expenses-paid trip to the Hennessey headquarters for a 170+ mph ride in the Hennessey Venom F5 hypercar, a private lunch with John Hennessey, a behind-the-scenes tour of the F5 production facility and Shell Technology Center, plus some additional surprises.

Well, the lucky winner of the charity auction could also use the time to check out or buy a "new patriotic special edition" of the VelociRaptor lineup ahead of Independence Day – the 'Freedom Series' package for the Bronco Raptor or F-150 Raptor plus Raptor R includes new military-style 'USA' and 'HPE 91' graphics, fresh 20-inch Vossen off-road wheels dressed in bronze, plus a US flag and mounting hardware to "fly the flag on or off-road."

The Ford Bronco Raptor 'VelociRaptor 500' upgrades include new front and rear bumpers, 20-inch wheels, 37-inch off-road tires, an upgraded heat exchanger, plus the 3.0-liter V6 engine massaged 500 hp at 5,700 rpm and 550 lb-ft torque at 3,900 rpm. The refreshed 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor with 'VelociRaptor 600' goodies, meanwhile, surges to 558 hp and 672 lb-ft of torque while the Raptor R switches to the 'VelociRaptor 1000' mode with no less than 1,043 horsepower on tap, 824 lb-ft of torque, and a sprint to 60 mph in 3.1 seconds with a quarter-mile time of 11.4 seconds at 122 mph!
