Unveiled less than two months ago in Detroit, the 2014 Corvette Stingray is about to get even more powerful and faster. How's that possible? Well, Hennessey just said so!
We all know they're not joking when it comes to high-performance tuning but if you still have any doubts, check out their Venom 700R and 1000 Twin Turbo projects (based on the 2013 SRT Viper, of course).
The Texas-based tuner hasn't offered precise figures yet, but it claims that the Hennessey Stingray may get up to 1,000 horsepower in a similar Venom-like fashion: supercharger kit for 700 HP and Twin Turbo system for 800 to 1,000 HP. Just for comparison reasons, the factory C7 Corvette boasts 450 HP.
Other tweaks necessary for this kind of power include cold air intake system, cat-back exhaust system, steel long-tube headers, sport suspension, Brembo package and high performance wheels and tires.
There's no information about when these kits will be available, but they should arrive in Q4 2013.
